Weekend Haul

In no particular order here is what I bought :)

Cover Girl clean makeup in Buff Beige-the clean scent and the satin finish are what make me a faithful user.

Urban Decay All Nighter-it's been so hot here in LA, and the last thing I wanna worry about is having my makeup melt off so I added a setting spray to my makeup bag.

Prestige my BIGGEST lashes mascara: the packaging alone sold me :) I love Pink.

Sephora all over shadow brush: I feel that I never have enough shadow brushes so one more wouldn't hurt-especially not at $5.00 I couldn't pass this up.

Physicians Formula youthful wear translucent powder: intended to make you look 10 years younger....I'm not sure about that bUt it does smooth out my complexion.

What did you haul during the week?

My Facial Cleanser

I been using this to wash my face and remove my makeup at the end of the day and I must say that this product is grEat! I love that it doesn't have a strong scent and that it doesn't break me out. My skin does not dry out, or break out. A little goes a long way in my opinion, I've had this trial size bottle for a month now and it's not even half ways. I will definitely be repurchasing this cleanser. What's your favorite facial cleanser?

Update: Too Faced Primed and Poreless Powder

I been using this to set my foundation and while it does a good job at "setting" there's a few things I don't like. First, the scent of the powder makes me cough and makes my eyes water. Second, the powder is sooo--- fine even with the built in sifter it gets everywhere. Even when you have it on your brush it's easy to get some on your hairline/clothes/lashes... Third, the powder is translucent and made to adjust to any skintone but I've noticed that I have to make sure to blend it in well because just sweeping it on my face will leave me with little white spots on face. In the end this product is excellent for setting, but is extremely messy. Do you guys have a favorite setting powder?

Shy Girl...

Since I missplaced my MAC mineralize skin finish and I've been without a setting powder ever since (last Tuesday) anyway I dropped by Sephora today and bought Too Faced Primed and Poreless finishing veil. The Too Faced brand cost $28 and is 0.16 oz and MAC cost $29 and is 0.35 oz.

I also bought a Stila lip glaze trio and I took my MAC empties and got MAC Shy Girl lipstick

Swatches of the lip products

The large swatch is Shy Girl creamsheen finish. From top to bottom-Stila Pinata, kitten, and maraca.
Oh! And I almost forgot...I bought Wet n Wild's coverAll concealer in light 804. At $.99 it doesnt hurt to try it out. :)

Take a Deep Breath...

I love Philosophy's new moisturizer In just 5 days I've already noticed a difference in my skin! It's a gel, so it's light-perfect to wear under makeup. I've noticed my skin looks waaay more nourished and hydrated than before and not one bit flaky! You can buy this at your Philosophy counter or Sephora for $30.00

Favorite Lip Balm

I got this as a gift and have been using it daily! I love that it goes on smooth, and does not have a waxy feel to it. The thing that I don't like is that it might melt if I leave it in my car since it looks like it's Vaseline in stick form.

Pros: smooth, leaves lips with a just the right amount of shine, the scent is a combination of sugar and lemon. Twist on/off cap, packaging is metal like material. Spf 15
Cons: possible melting of product if left in your car or in direct sunlight. Not enough product in a tube. Becomes addicting!! I've noticed I reach for it more often than my other lip balm due to the fact that I crave the moisture it provides

Birthday Gift

Kat Von D. Saint palette, Nars lipstick in Schiap and Urban Decay setting spray and primer duo. If you've never tried Kat Von D's eyeshadow I suggest you head over to Sephora... :) not only are her eyeshadows extremely pigmented, they're super smooth and creamy. They feel like butter! I've yet to try the Urban Decay setting spray...hope it keeps my makeup intact :)

True Romance Eyeshadow palette. Very wearable everyday neutrals.

Schiap-semi-matte, bright Pink no shimmer. It looks great with black winged liner ;)

Bought these bracelets at Charlotte Russe and forever21 earlier today.
