Urban Decay Primer Potion-Greed

I finally jumped on the bandwagon!! I just discovered Urban Decay's eye base! I.bought it for $8.97 at Nordstrom Rack and have been wearing it everyday since then :) I got it in Greed (shimmery Gold) because of the shimmery finish it works really well with non matte eyeshadows. The texture is light weight, almost mousse like and dries quickly. It also intensifies the color of the eyeshadows. The applicator is angled and fits around the curves of the eye. The only thing I'm regretting is not buying the original primer potion because at $8.97, you can't pass this up! What's your favorite eye primer?

NYX Matte Lipstick

I bought this lipstick at Ulta in Butter. This is a matte formula, but I find it to be semi matte and very moisturizing. I actually appreciate this because I don't really like matte lipsticks. The color is a Brown Taupe and does not look so pretty in the tube but once swatched (to me at least) it resembled MAC's Chai lip glass. I figured I'd buy it just for that reason :) The packaging is simple and sleek, traditional twist up and down tube. There's also no scent to these lipsticks. Overall I give this lipstick and A- I would grade it and A but I think it's misleading to have matte printed on the tube and the product not being able to live up to the description. I'm sure matte lipstick lovers would be disappointed.

Miracle in a Bottle!!

I've never been a fan of MaryKay never even bought anything-ever... This past week
I attended a Mary Kay party and bought their eye makeup remover. The representative used a cotton pad with a bit of makeup remover and pressed it against my cousins eye and instantly removed her heavy eye makeup. It was so easy! Her eye makeup just melted off! No tugging, or rubbing. I was so impressed I had to buy it :) It's oil free and has no fragrance to it. I love that it doesn't irritate my eyes either orale them water. All I do is shake the bottle and use a cotton pad to remove my mascara. I've noticed that after I wash my face my eye area feels silky and hydrated. I highly recommend this product to everyone, especially those with sensitive eyes.

This is the way the liquid looks before you shake it :)

I can happily say that this makeup remover HAS replaced my use to be holy grail, Neutrogena's oil-free eye makeup remover.
What's your favorite eye makeup remover?

Lipstick I'm loving

I'm loving this shade! The color is a nude-pinky warm color and is a matte finish. It's a bit drying so I put on lip balm before I apply it for a smooth application. This is one of my many favorite nudes by far....the staying power is good, it doesn't wash me out ( I'm nc25 ) aNd it can be used during the day for a simple "no makeup" look and then pair it with smokey eyes for a night out. I love wearing this with Purple Haze eyeshadow and Warm Soul blush! Both by MAC.

Mark Glow Baby Glow

This is mark's Glow Baby Glow Luxe lip gloss in Petal Luxe. The color is a bright Pink with very noticeable Pink glitter that blends in perfectly with the color. Once applied the color looks like a bubble him Pink, it feels smooth, light and moisturizing. It does have a slight minty scent, and the glitter does not show up on your lips. Overall for the price it's a good product but enough... I been wearing it for 3 days and it already looks like I'm running low :/

Glamoflauge as Tattoo Cover-Up

I been very curious about this concealer...it said on the packaging that it can be used to cover up tattoos, I don't have any tattoos and wanted to try it out so I used it on my husband. :)

Step 1. Prime the area to be covered.
Step 2. Use the concealer pencil (comes provided with the concealer) to outline the tattoo.
Step 3. Blend product inward
Step 4. Apply Glamoflauge to the tattoo and blend. Apply as many coats needed to cover. Once covered set with translucent powder.

Please excuse these pictures....lighting was horrible.

This is the tattoo I chose. I chose this one because it's not as dark as the other ones he has and is the smallest as well.

No flash. This is after 3 applications. :) I can only see a little bit of darkness around the edges but other than that it really covered up the tattoo.

With flash. End result :) It worked!!!

Loew Cornell in my makeup kit?

Last summer I was in Michael's buying frames and I remembered Enkore from youtube, had made a video on Loew Cornell paint brushes for makeup application....anyway long story short-I bought the Maxine mop 270. :)

I'm very glad I did because I adore this brush! This brush is almost identical to MAC's 239 only the head of the brush is slightly wider and a bit longer.

I use this brush for shading, highlighting, my crease, and even for blending. This brush also packs on the color very well just like my MAC 242 only it's not so big.

Pros: soft bristles, very versatile, natural hair, easy to clean. Works well with cream products.
Cons: honestly the only con thing I can think of is that the handle might be too long for some. Other than this-this brush is fantasTic!!!

In my makeup bag

Lately I been using these products for my everyday makeup. I use Maybelline Super Stay 24hour foundation on a daily basis. It's a full coverage foundation and it really does NoT budge! MAC Prep and Prime highlighter in Radiant Rose, I use this around my nose and inside the corner of my eyes to brighten up :) Scandal Eyes mascara has a natural finish, it gives volume and length but not over the top. Two coats of this and I'm set. For eyeshadow I been using my Stila Natural Eyes Palette. This palette has 10 eye shadows that allow you to create a natural look or add some drama to your eyes with the darker shades.

Swatches of the stila natural eyes palette and NARS Taos blush.
Taos blush is a coral, red with gold shimmer. I love that this blush makes me look naturally flushed.
For lips I been using my chanel lipgloss #68 a Hot Pink, coral color with gold flecks. I like that it's not sticky and non drying.

My Facial Cleanser

I been using this to wash my face and remove my makeup at the end of the day and I must say that this product is grEat! I love that it doesn't have a strong scent and that it doesn't break me out. My skin does not dry out, or break out. A little goes a long way in my opinion, I've had this trial size bottle for a month now and it's not even half ways. I will definitely be repurchasing this cleanser. What's your favorite facial cleanser?

Update: Too Faced Primed and Poreless Powder

I been using this to set my foundation and while it does a good job at "setting" there's a few things I don't like. First, the scent of the powder makes me cough and makes my eyes water. Second, the powder is sooo--- fine even with the built in sifter it gets everywhere. Even when you have it on your brush it's easy to get some on your hairline/clothes/lashes... Third, the powder is translucent and made to adjust to any skintone but I've noticed that I have to make sure to blend it in well because just sweeping it on my face will leave me with little white spots on face. In the end this product is excellent for setting, but is extremely messy. Do you guys have a favorite setting powder?

Update on Suave Shampoo and Conditioner

I been using this for 7 days now and I've stopped using the shampoo because the minute I wash my hair with it my hair feels dry, brittle and super rough. Even after following with the conditioner it doesn't feel as soft as it did when I first began to use the two together...As of now I will continue to use the conditioner but will pass on the shampoo.
