Weekend Haul

In no particular order here is what I bought :)

Cover Girl clean makeup in Buff Beige-the clean scent and the satin finish are what make me a faithful user.

Urban Decay All Nighter-it's been so hot here in LA, and the last thing I wanna worry about is having my makeup melt off so I added a setting spray to my makeup bag.

Prestige my BIGGEST lashes mascara: the packaging alone sold me :) I love Pink.

Sephora all over shadow brush: I feel that I never have enough shadow brushes so one more wouldn't hurt-especially not at $5.00 I couldn't pass this up.

Physicians Formula youthful wear translucent powder: intended to make you look 10 years younger....I'm not sure about that bUt it does smooth out my complexion.

NYX Matte Lipstick

I bought this lipstick at Ulta in Butter. This is a matte formula, but I find it to be semi matte and very moisturizing. I actually appreciate this because I don't really like matte lipsticks. The color is a Brown Taupe and does not look so pretty in the tube but once swatched (to me at least) it resembled MAC's Chai lip glass. I figured I'd buy it just for that reason :) The packaging is simple and sleek, traditional twist up and down tube. There's also no scent to these lipsticks. Overall I give this lipstick and A- I would grade it and A but I think it's misleading to have matte printed on the tube and the product not being able to live up to the description. I'm sure matte lipstick lovers would be disappointed.

Fashion Find of the Day

I decided to make the "Fashion Find of the Day" post a permanent feature on my blog. I bought 2 bangles by Ted Baker at Nordstrom Rack for $4.50 each!


With flash.



No flash. The bracelets each say Ted Baker and arm candy on them all the way around.


I added the plain white and black bracelets. They did NOT come with the bangles I purchased.

I also went to the La Mirada indoor swap meet and bought a few things


Klean color lip liner, NYX lip gloss in Whipped, Adoro nail polish stickers, Profusion mascara, and earrings.


Lip liners in golden nugget, rose and mauve. Nyx lip gloss in whipped.


I loved the flower print and little birds on the mascara. All items cost $1.00 except the nyx gloss it was $1.50

Shopping My Makeup Stash

Today I looked in my makeup stash for lost and forgotten products. In my search I found....
Cargo matte bronzer in medium. I liked this bronzed because you can build the intensity and it's easier to make it look "natural"
NARS cream blush in Penny Lane. This blush is a baby Pink blush that goes well with my skin tone also I like using it on my lips :)
NARS eyeshadow in Ashes to Ashes one of my favorite taupe eyeshdows. I love to put this shadow over MAC backtrack eyeliner because the color changes to a darker shade of grey
Inglot eyeshadow #33 this shadow has major color pay off! I remember I use to line my bottom lashline with this for a pop of color.
Dianne Brill lip lingerie in Satin Sash. This is the only Dianne Brill item I own and I love it! The color is a shade I think will look great on every skin tone because it's a natural color.
MAC lipstick in Fabby. I would of never discovered this if it wasn't for my husband. He bought it for me because he said he never seen a purple lipstick before... At first I was like huh?? But he's right! This lipstick is a purple/mauvy pink color with gold sheen. :) In the end it's my favorite for 2 reasons-the fact that my husband picked it out on his own and because of the color.
